" The practice of Shaolin Kung Fu is a form of Zen, a moving meditation. For me, it is something personal and spiritual, and so the idea of being
photographed in practice seemed to be a contradiction of ideas. But Orah Moore is a photographer who, like the best artists, works in a Zen way
herself, and allows the subject and content to flow. While she might 'capture' moments, she never contains them. Whether Orah is photographing
my Spanish Mustangs in a wild setting for "Vermont Life", shooting me practicing martial arts for "Inside Kung Fu Magazine", or simply capturing an old tire
swing in my apple orchard, she never fails to find the spirit and story of her subject."
